Rates include
Private and/or Public hunting property; All lodging and
meals; Capes and hides properly cared for; Vehicles provided for
hunting. You are responsible for: Your license cost; Your personal
gear; All transportation costs to hunting area (airfare, car rental
etc); Taxidermy services; All meat processing. Tipping: Gratuities are
not included in the price of the hunt and they are not required.
However, you are strongly encouraged to tip your guides and your cook.
Since we are asked all the time what to tip we recommend $250 - $350
per hunter for your guide and $50-$100 per hunter for your cook. Their
job is to take good care of you so we ask you to do the same.
Refund Policy
Refunds on deposits are only given if a license is not drawn, and there
are no "over the counter", or "left over " licenses available to
purchase. Either for the species you are hunting or a combination
license containing the species you are hunting. Please keep in mind
these "over the counter" or "left over" licenses may cost extra to
purchase than your original application fee. EXAMPLE: You apply for
the "Deer Combination License", you do not draw the license, but there
are "Big Game Combination" licenses available to purchase over the
counter, you are required to purchase this license, even if it is of
higher price for the license.

License Information
Non-resident deer and elk license drawing due March 15th. Guaranteed archery
antelope licenses. For Montana License Applications; Information;
(406) 444-2950 Montana deer and elk licenses are sold out by MARCH
15 and antelope by JUNE 1. Deer and elk applications will be available
about JANUARY 15 and antelope licenses about APRIL 15. Mountain Lion
applications are due August 31. Mountain Lion Trophy licenses must be
purchased after the mountain lion kill. Black Bear applications for
spring season only are due April 14. Licenses may be purchased after
April 14th but are valid only in the fall season. No bear license may
be purchased after August 31. Hunters must show proof of having passed
a black bear identification test before purchasing a license. Bow and
Arrow License and Bowhunter Education. A bow and arrow license, plus
the proper hunting license is required during: (1) the deer, elk,
and/or antelope Archery Only Season; or (2) to archery hunt in an
Arch-Equip only area or hunting district. To purchase a Montana bow and
arrow license, a hunter must:* Provide a certificate of completing the
National Bow hunter Education Foundation course, or* Provide any prior
year bow hunting/archery stamp, tag, permit, or license from any state
or province.
